Who this applies to
GRAIT is a set of personal tools used by its owner, Rhyno Janse van Rensburg, on his own computer, with his own Google accounts. It is not a public service and does not collect data from other people's accounts.
What Google data is accessed
When the owner connects a Google account, GRAIT reads that account's Gmail messages and attachments so that the owner can import, search and organise his own email, and may send email on his behalf when he asks it to. It uses only the access the owner grants on Google's consent screen.
Where the data goes
- Email data is stored on the owner's own computer, in a database under his control.
- It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
- It is not used to train general-purpose AI models.
- OAuth tokens are stored locally and used only to reach the owner's own mailbox.
Google API Services User Data Policy
GRAIT's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access and data
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Imported data can be deleted from the local database by the owner.
